Target Field Trip grant offers $700 for learning outside the classroom. This opportunity is open until October 1.

About Donors Choose
Donors Choose is a very popular grant, and the only online grant opportunity that is Board approved. Donors Choose is an amazing resource as long as everyone understands how it works. Here are a few tips to consider when applying to Donors Choose:
1. Everything posted is public. Students, parents, and other members of our community can, and hopefully will access what's posted. Ask yourself, does the project posting reflect the highest degree of respect for the students, families, and the broader school community?
2. Please be careful not to disclose any information that might reveal the identity of a student. Photos should not include images of students, even if the students pictured have parental permission. Teachers may use general pictures of their classroom so long as the image does not include any materials which might personally identify or include students. These guidelines apply to profile images, project postings, and thank you packages.
3. WCPSS and its schools are committed to providing for the educational needs of students. Grants can help supply for wants, enriching classrooms. Applicants should talk with their principal about what will be requested through the grant.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with the grants office (grants@wcpss.net).
Happy grant writing!
