Pending Deadlines: A couple of great grant opportunities have deadlines coming up soon, so if you are thinking of applying, you might want to move quickly:
  • The Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant provides up to $5,000 for school improvement projects. The deadline is September 26, or when they receive the 1,500th proposal, so consider applying early. More information can be found at http://www.toolboxforeducation.com/.

Several great grant opportunities have looming deadlines, so if you are thinking of applying, you might want to move quickly:
  • Wake Electric's Classroom Technology grant (http://wemc.com/class-awards/) and Bright Ideas grant (http://www.ncbrightideas.com/) is September 13 at 5:00 PM. Each of these grants provide up to $3,000 for classroom projects.
  • The Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant provides up to $5,000 for school improvement projects. The deadline is September 26, or when they receive the 1,500th proposal, so consider applying early. More information can be found at http://www.toolboxforeducation.com/.
  • The Target Field Trip grant is now open and provides $700 for school field trips. Applications will be accepted until October 1. Visit https://corporate.target.com/corporate-responsibility/grants/field-trip-grants for more information.
