The Board of Education met on Tuesday, July 19, and approved a number of grant opportunities for the 2016-17 school year. We have posted these on the Office of Grants intranet site in our Canvas course in the Grant Alerts section. These listings divide the grants into those with fixed deadlines and those that are available on a rolling basis. We hope you will take a look and consider the opportunities for your classroom and school.
Local grants offer particularly great opportunities for teachers to seek out additional resources for innovative classroom projects. There are two of particular interest right now:

- Wake Electric's Classroom Technology grant (http://wemc.com/class-awards/)
Both of these grants are due on September 13. Take a look, and give them some consideration!
