Grant Alerts -- December 21, 2016

The 4C Fund grant opportunity is open until Wednesday, January 4 at 5:00 PM. WCPSS teachers may apply for grants of up to $10,000 for projects that utilize one or more of the 4Cs. More information can be found here. Please note that you must be logged in to your WCPSS Google account to access the guidelines and application. No Intent to Apply form is needed for the 4C Fund grant, since it is an internal grant.

With the district's Winter Break starting on Friday, we encourage you to get in touch with us December 21 or 22 with any questions you may have regarding the 4C Fund. You can reach Dr. Angie Wright by email (awright@wcpss.net).

WCPSS Central Office (and the Office of Grants) will be closed for the Winter Break starting December 23 and will re-open on Tuesday, January 3. If an emergency comes up during the break, please email Dr. Wright.

Grant Alerts - December 7, 2016

An information session about the 4C Fund will be held on Thursday, December 8, from 5 – 6 PM at Crossroads I, 5625 Dillard Drive, Cary, NC  27518. If you are interested in attending but cannot come to the meeting in person, we would welcome you to join us through a video conference call using Google Hangouts. Please email grants@wpcss.net if you plan to join us via hangouts, and we will send you an invitation with the link .

There are a few grants with upcoming deadlines for you to consider:

·        The CenturyLink Foundation is offering their Teachers and Technology grant of up to $5,000 to schools in their residential service areas. More information can be found at http://www.centurylink.com/aboutus/community/foundation/teachers.html. Applications will be accepted from October 1 through January 12.
·        The Biogen Foundation: Ignite the Power of STEM grant program is now accepting applications through January 15, 2017. The grant supports innovative methods of providing STEM education.
