The WCPSS Board of Education approved the NC School Library Media Association Grant opportunity.  Check it out at http://www.ncslma.org/awards-grants. The deadline is May 15.

Several grant opportunities have deadlines looming before the end of April:

State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program
Subject: Safety, Community Development, and Education
Funding: $25,000
Deadline: Application period open March 9 - 29

The Actuarial Foundation
Subject: Math
Funding: Up to $10,000
Deadline: March 31, 2015

American Chemical Society (ACS) Hach High School Chemistry Grant
Subject: STEM
Funding: Up to $1,500
Deadline: April 1, 2015

USA Football Equipment Grant
Subject: Physical fitness
Funding Level: Up to $1,500
Deadline: Opens April 1, 2015 – closes April 30, 2015

McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation
Subject: Miscellaneous
Funding: Up to $10,000 per year for 3 years
Deadline: January 15, 2015 – April 15, 2015

Lead2Feed, Challenge The World Hunger Leadership Challenge

Snapdragon Book Foundation
