Grant Alerts -- February 22, 2017

Hello WCPSS Grant Seekers. We are happy to report that WakeEd’s Teacher Innovation Grant program will open its application portal on March 1, 2017. Newly revised and exclusive to WCPSS educators, this program invites educators to answer the question, “What would happen if…” as they explore innovative solutions to achieving Vision 2020. Grants address the 4Cs as well as the goals of the Learning and Teaching, Achievement, Balanced Assessment, and Community Engagement strategies. Click here to view the grant timeline. There are a couple of upcoming deadlines you might want to be aware of:

• The NC Arts Council's Arts in Education application period is open. Information about this opportunity can be found at http://www.ncarts.org/resources/grants/grants-organizations/arts-education-grants (Links to an external site.). The deadline is March 1, 2017.
• Raleigh Moms Care is offering a $750 grant for classroom projects. The deadline is March 1, 2017. A link to the application can be found in our Grant Alerts and on our Canvas site.
