Here are a couple of grants with upcoming deadlines that might be of interest: 

• The Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant provides up to $5,000 for school improvement projects. The deadline is September 26, or when they receive the 1,500th proposal, so consider applying early. More information can be found at http://www.toolboxforeducation.com/ (Links to an external site.).
