Grant Alerts - March 17, 2016

We’ve been having a record setting year for the number of grants submitted by school-based staff—over 600 (and it is just mid-March!). It is wonderful to see your creative ideas for helping our students learn and thrive, and to see so many people taking the initiative write grants. As you and your colleagues receive notification from funders, please let us know by sending us a copy of the award email or letter. We currently have about 130 grants still pending, and we are eager to know whether or not they receive funding.

Don't forget about the Wake Ed Partnership Teacher Innovation grant, offering $1000 for individuals or $3,000 for teams.  Grant writing workshops are being held on March 22 and April 7.  For details, visit http://www.wakeed.org/programs/teacher-innovation-grants/

• Raleigh Moms Care is offering a grant of $500 to Wake County teachers. The deadline is March 30.To access the application form, click here.
